青山古寺风萧瑟。         An old temple by green hill and wind blowing.

风萧瑟，            Wind blowing,

银光似泻，           The silvery moonlight down pouring,

二胡幽咽。           Erhu sounds whimpering.

钟灵惠麓风尘客，        The fatigued man at the foot of graceful Huishan,

丝竹寂寞情深切。         Play the lonesome music with deep feeling.

情深切，            With deep feeling,

芳流世界，           All over the world is amazing,

二泉音乐。           At the music of Erquan.
